Sports Injury Assessment
A detailed assessment designed to identify the root cause of pain, restricted movement, or injury.
What to expect during your visit
Step 1 — Initial Conversation
A detailed chat about your symptoms, training load, daily routine, and injury history forms the basis of the initial conversation.
This helps pinpoint what may be driving your issue.
Step 2 — Postural Assessment
Your posture is analysed to identify imbalances or tension patterns that may be affecting movement or causing pain.
Step 3 — Range of Motion Testing
You’ll go through controlled movements to assess joint mobility, flexibility, and any restrictions.
Step 4 — Functional Movement Tests
Movements such as squats, lunges, gait patterns or sport-specific actions are assessed to see how your body performs in real movement.
Step 5 — Special Orthopaedic Tests
Targeted tests are used to identify or rule out specific injuries involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, or nerves.
Step 6 — Soft Tissue Assessment
Hands-on palpation is used to detect tightness, trigger points, swelling, or sensitivity in the muscles and soft tissues.
Step 7 — Targeted Treatment
Based on your assessment, treatment may include:
Soft tissue massage
Deep tissue massage
Myofascial release
Positional release
Trigger point work
PNF stretching
Muscle Energy Techniques
Dry cupping
Taping
Sports Massage 60 Min
A focused sports massage session designed to reduce muscle tightness, improve circulation, and speed up post-training recovery.
Ideal for Pre Event, Post Event or add into your program as a Maintenance Massage.
What to expect during your visit
Step 1 — Consultation
A conversation to start about any tight areas, medical history, recent training, discomfort, or goals for the session.
This ensures the treatment is tailored from the start.
Step 2 — Postural & Movement Check
A brief assessment of posture and basic movements helps identify tension patterns, imbalances, or areas needing focus.
Step 3 — Targeted Soft Tissue Work
Deep tissue and sports massage techniques are used to reduce tightness, release knots, and improve muscle function.
Step 4 — Myofascial Release
Slow, controlled pressure helps release restrictions in the fascia, improving mobility and reducing stiffness.
Step 5 — Positional Release Techniques
Gentle positioning techniques are used to reduce muscular tension, calm the nervous system, and ease discomfort.
Step 6 — PNF Stretching
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is used to improve flexibility, activate muscles, and enhance range of motion.
Step 7 — Recovery & Rebalancing
Focused work on key areas such as the back, neck, shoulders, legs, or hips — depending on your goals — helps restore balance throughout the body.
Each session will be tailored to the individual, offering specific techniques based on the assessment. Our sessions are not one size fits all.
Full Body Reset 90 Min
A comprehensive, deep session targeting multiple problem areas in one appointment. Ideal for the functional athlete during peak training or after a long training program and events.
Step 1 — Consultation
Ann overview to start of how your body is feeling, areas of tightness, and what you want from the session.
This shapes the focus of the full-body treatment.
Step 2 — Whole-Body Range of Motion Testing
A brief analysis of posture and mobility helps identify imbalances across the entire body before treatment starts.
Step 3 — Comprehensive Soft Tissue Massage
A full-body approach using deep tissue and sports massage techniques to release tension from head to toe.
Step 4 — Myofascial Release for Long Restrictions
Slow, controlled fascial release helps free up stiff areas and create lasting improvements in mobility.
Step 5 — Targeted Focus Areas
Extra time is spent on the places that need it most — shoulders, back, hips, glutes, legs, or any specific problem zones.
Step 6 — Stretching & Mobility Techniques
PNF stretching, Muscle Energy Techniques, assisted mobility, and joint mobilisation work are used to enhance flexibility and movement quality.
Step 7 — Nervous System Reset
Gentle positional release and relaxation techniques help reduce stress, calm the body, and support overall recovery.
Step 8 — Recovery Recommendations
You’ll receive tailored advice on how to maintain the effects of the session and support ongoing movement health.
